IAG Pretax Profit Rises on Consensus-Beating Revenue
International Consolidated Airlines group said pretax profit rose in the second quarter as revenue beat consensus.
The airline group—which houses Iberia, British Airways and Aer Lingus, among others—on Friday said it expects underlying costs to increase due to factors including lower capacity growth. The company said its 2025 capacity growth forecast stood at around 2.5%, subject to the effect of operational challenges.
